Saturday’s games will see Juventus play Pescara at the Juventus Stadium and Bologna take on Torino.
Juventus will be keen to bounce back from their mid week disaster against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and show the Bianconeri faithful that they have not gone off the boil. It’s the classic game of top versus bottom and both teams have something to gain from winning so expect a fiery game.
Bologna face Torino, Torino will be looking for all three points from this fixture as they have a dreaded run of fixtures which sees them play Roma, Milan and Juventus in the near future.
On Monday Roma and Lazio battle it out against each other in the Derby della Capitale. Both teams are lurking in mid-table positions and will be looking to take bragging rights within the city.
Napoli will be hoping to put more pressure on Juventus with a home win when they play host to relegation strugglers Genoa, a win for Genoa will see them pile pressure on fellow relegation strugglers.
Fiorentina be looking to move into the Champions League places this weekend, unfortunately AC Milan stand in their way in both fixtures and in the league table. A win for La Viola will help them gain ground on the Milan giants who currently stand third in the league, 6 points clear of Fiorentina.
Inter have a tricky home tie against Atalanta, but will be buoyed by their mid-week win against Sampdoria, and will be keen to push on for a Champions League spot.
Catania are at a vital stage in their season and this fixture could well determine if they are to have a chance of a European spot. But Cagliari are a side that are coming into form, and will have to be the fly in the ointment for Catania if they are to continue this run of form.
Siena host Parma this weekend and a win for the Robur could see them escape the relegation zone for the first time this season. Parma are mid table, seemingly too far from relegation worries and too far from a European place.
Palermo travel to Sampdoria and can smell safety, a win could see them catch fellow relegation strugglers Siena and Genoa. Sampdoria are without a win in 3 matches and will be looking to break the duck.
Chievo will be looking for maximum points this weekend as they hover ever closer to the relegation fight, and will be hoping to distance themselves with a win against a mid-tabled Udinese.
